Jill joined MCIE as a communications consultant in 2024, bringing 25 years of experience in communications and journalism to support the organization’s strategic efforts in inclusive education and disability advocacy. As a national award-winning investigative reporter with extensive experience in marketing and education, Jill has delivered results across various industries and contributed significantly to independent schools through writing, content strategy, website development, digital initiatives, and fundraising communication. Her personal commitment to inclusion is fueled by her experience as the mother of a son with Down syndrome. Additionally, Jill has been actively involved in her public school district, serving in roles such as Executive Board Chair of the Special Education Advisory Committee (SECAC), a founding member of the Family Support Network, and a member of the District Inclusion Team. Passionate about supporting disability-focused organizations, Jill is dedicated to creating meaningful change through collaboration and advocacy.
